Surah Al-Qaari'a — الْقَارِعَةِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو بہت مہربان رحمت والاٱلْقَارِعَةُ ١
دل دہلانے والی،
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٢
کیا وہ دہلانے والی،
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٣
اور تو نے کیا جانا کیا ہے دہلانے والی
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ٤
جس دن آدمی ہوں گے جیسے پھیلے پتنگے
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ٥
اور پہاڑ ہوں گے جیسے دھنکی اون
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٦
تو جس کی تولیں بھاری ہوئیں
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ٧
وہ تو من مانتے عیش میں ہیں
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٨
اور جس کی تولیں ہلکی پڑیں
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ ٩
وہ نیچا دکھانے والی گود میں ہے
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ ١٠
اور تو نے کیا جانا، کیا نیچا دکھانے والی،
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ ١١
ایک آگ شعلے مارتی
English translation (Pickthall) — full Surah
The Calamity! What is the Calamity? Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths And the mountains will become as carded wool. Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), He will live a pleasant life. But as for him whose scales are light, A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - Raging Fire.
